Gaskets Rocker Cover
vw polo brown sluge inside rocker cover and over heating. is it a blown head gasket.?
Started running hotter while back. had it checked out couldn't find a problem. they thought it could be the temp sender playing up. yesterday started running really hot. looked in rocker cover, brown milky suldge and lots of it. Dip stick oil ok. water not going down in resovouir that i can see. no steam out the exhaust. what do you think guys????
sludge in the rocker is a common fault with older v.w,s its just normally the breather systems witch emulsify due to condensation if the sump oil is not contaminated its fine you probably just have problem with the thermostat or the fan
